My name is Raquel Joaquín. I have designed a task based on the topic of reducing the amount of waste. To create the task I have used a WikiSpace which is a website where students and teachers can collaborate. The task includes two activities: a reading-comprehension activity and a debate.
This task is divided into three steps plus the assessment criteria. In the first step, students will have to download a text and read it individually. In the second step, students will have to do a comprehension activity which has been created using a Google form. Students have to answer this form individually. Finally, students will have to participate in a debate.
The main goals of the task are to practice reading and writing and to get well informed about the possible ways of reducing the amount of waste.
At the end of the WikiSpace students will find the assessment criteria. I strongly recommend students to look at it before starting to do the task.
